Hot Stone Massage

In a Hot Stone Massage we use specially selected basalt stones.
(A basalt stone is smooth, flat and rich in iron, see pictures above)
The stones are heated to a temperature between 110F - 130F. The therapist will then hold the stone in their hand and use it to massage the body. This allows the heat from the stone to transfer into your body.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy a system of gentle touch designed to enhance the functioning of the membranes, tissues, fluids, and bones surrounding or associated with the brain and spinal cord.

This light touch is said to affect the pressure and circulation of cerebrospinal fluid, which is the fluid around the brain and spinal cord.

Cupping

By placing a plastic cup onto the skin, the therapist creates a vacuum in the cup which draws the skin, muscle, and fascia up into the cup. This vacuum can be created with a hand suction pump.  The cups can remain in position for several minutes, or the therapist can glide them over the skin similar to the movements of a massage.
